Antique 1895 book Vocal Physical Culture Elocution without a Teacher

This is an Antique 1895 book entitled Vocal and Physical Culture, Elocution without a Teacher which came out of a Philadelphia estate and it is in good looking and in good reading condition. It was published by Monarch Book company of Chicago, Philadelphia, and Stockton California and is a manual of Health, Beauty and Education consisting of Vocal Culture, Gestures, Calisthenics and Readings for the Young and Old and Rich and Poor. It has 352 pages and illustrates how life in the 1890′s was different than life more than century later. This book could only be located elsewhere on the web at the Ansel Cook Museum in Illinois. The binding on this copy is in poor condition, the pages are very brittle but the book remains entirely readable if handled with care. It measures 2”x7-1/2”x10” and weighs 4 pounds.
